Airbrush Makeup Frequently Asked Questions
Is airbrush makeup safe?
ABSOLUTELY!! Airbrush makeup is more hygienic than traditional makeup. No more icky brushes and dirty water that can transfer bacteria from one face to another. With airbrush makeup, the only wet stuff that touches your skin is the makeup. Airbrush makeup sits on the surface of the skin, allowing the skin to breathe. It does not clog the skin’s pores the way traditional makeup does. Many people with skin problems find their problems start to disappear when they switch to airbrush makeup.
How much air pressure is used?
Airbrush makeup uses approximately 3 – 10 psi (pounds per square inch) air pressure. This is an extremely low pressure and is totally safe for applying makeup. It does not hurt, sting or itch. As a matter of fact, it is quite pleasant on a hot day!!
What kind of airbrush makeup is used?
Only FDA approved hypoallergenic airbrush makeup and the highest quality professional makeup supplies are used.
How fast is airbrush face and body makeup?
An airbrush artist can complete a face makeover in approximately 45 minutes. This includes foundation, rouge, eye shadow and eyebrows. We then augment the makeover with professional eye shadow powders, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. Full body airbrushing depends on the design, color and density required.
